In December 2006, Law & Politics in conjunction with Milwaukee Magazine recognized Gwen Connolly a Rising Star by local Super Lawyers in the Milwaukee legal area. Read more here.


At the December 2006 meeting, the State Bar of Wisconsin’s Board of Governors nominated Connolly to run for Treasurer of the State Bar. Connolly has served for four years on the Board of Governors and three years on the Executive Committee. Read more here.


Connolly was chosen as President of the Association for Women Lawyers Foundation in early December 2006. The Foundation will carry on the scholarship efforts that AWL started several years ago. Last year, AWL gave out $10,000 worth of scholarships to women law students in Wisconsin.


The Association for Women Lawyers honored Gwen Connolly with the Mentor of the Year award at the AWL Annual Meeting held on September 26, 2006. Connolly previously served as President of AWL in 2001. Read more here.
